Hiap Seng Engineering LTD FZC has been appointed as the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contractor for the development of a major greenfield petroleum product storage terminal in the Port of Fujairah. The project, owned by APEX Terminal FZC, marks a significant addition to the region’s midstream infrastructure, reinforcing Fujairah’s position as a key global trading and storage hub for petroleum products.

The terminal is designed with a total storage capacity of approximately 1.2 million cubic meters, comprising 33 atmospheric storage tanks. The facility will be supported by auxiliary utilities and state-of-the-art safety systems, all engineered to meet stringent local and international standards. Strategically located on the shoreside of the Port of Fujairah, the terminal will be connected to all jetties of port of Fujairah through Matrix manifold 2 of port of Fujairah , enabling efficient handling and export capabilities.

As of today, Hiap Seng has successfully completed the Front End Engineering Design (FEED), while Detailed Engineering has progressed to 70% completion. All necessary regulatory approvals for site mobilization and initial construction activities have been secured. Temporary site offices and supporting infrastructure have been fully established and are operational. Construction works are scheduled to commence shortly.
