Project Overview
We are proud to have been awarded a comprehensive terminal upgrade and modernization project at one of the world’s leading oil storage and export facilities. This multifaceted project encompasses a wide range of mechanical, piping, and electrical works designed to enhance safety, improve operational efficiency, and ensure the long-term reliability of critical terminal infrastructure.
Our scope involves the execution of over 20 distinct work packages, covering everything from structural modifications to the replacement of key loading systems. Key elements include:
- Marine Loading Arm (MLA) Replacement: The complete replacement of two main marine loading arms at Berth 2, including the removal of existing units, supply and installation of new, hydraulically-operated arms, and full commissioning to ensure seamless integration with existing systems. This scope includes electrical and control works, testing, and operator training.
- Valve Automation and Upgrades: Replacement of manual gate valves with motor-operated valves (MOVs)
- Piping and Drip Tray Systems: Installation and extension of drip trays, modification of piping systems, and installation of auto air eliminators to prevent spills, enhance product handling, and improve environmental safety.
- Instrumentation and Control: Installation of new pressure transmitters (PTs) and emergency shutdown (ESD) push buttons, with integration into the existing Schneider and Siemens SCADA systems, providing enhanced process monitoring and safety control.
- Health, Safety, and Quality: Throughout the project, we are implementing a rigorous Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) plan in compliance with ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 14001:1996 standards. We are strictly adhering to the client’s comprehensive HSE management plan, with a dedicated certified safety officer on-site for the duration of the project to ensure all work is executed safely and without incident.
Our Commitment
This project underscores our capability to manage complex, multi-discipline upgrades within a live, operational terminal environment. We are committed to delivering these critical works with the highest standards of safety, quality, and minimal disruption to the client’s ongoing operations.
